BRIDGING THE GAP
Our AIM is to... provide a fellowship for itinerant ministers as there is a gap existing in contrast that there are other fellowships catering to pastors of local churches, Christian businessmen, teachers and etc.
This fellowship can create a database for many practical reasons such as:
(a) sharing experiences, strategic thinking, concepts, ideas, methods and
resources.
(b) ministry partnerships e.g. seminar together and etc.
(c) sharing ministry opportunities.
(d) emergency replacement for speaking engagements.
(e) hosting a visiting minister when the need arises.
(f) giving time to accompany a visiting minister when the need arises.
It is hope that this fellowship can be a network whereby mentoring relationships can occur. Through the networking, senior ministers can advise and counsel budding ministers. Our ideal is that the experienced minister will uphold and guide the upcoming minister. The established minister will not neglect the upstarts. As such, love and unity is realized. It is an aspiration to be a network whereby gifted ministers will be discovered, mentored and brought to the forefront - to bless the body of Christ.
The synergy of our association will be able to equip even the small local churches in secluded places because we are able to connect them to suitable and available ministers who are willing.
Who should be part of this? Of course; itinerant preachers, teachers and performers (i.e. gospel singer, actor and etc.). Travelling pastors, parachurch ministers and missionaries are surely included. Local pastors are also invited because they can bridge the gap between itinerants and local churches. Any person who has a calling into the preaching/teaching ministry is most welcomed.
