Poem: Fall At Your Feet

The devil points his accusing finger,
make a point to point him to Jesus,
you quickly find that he would not linger,
for Jesus had shed His blood for us.

Thank You, God, for the Lamb Who was slain,
in my place, He was punished for my sin,
I can be cleansed, made new, again and again,
to be holy as You are holy, from my within.

By Your grace, my past has been wiped away,
by Your grace, You accepted me in totality,
by Your grace, You have prepared a better way,
by Your grace, I am changed for eternity.

So, Lord, I pray to come to Your presence,
I am Your child, to hear You speak as we meet,
You look for my faith-and-trust in essence,
I throw myself to you, to fall at Your feet.
