For the Olympic winner, the medal will be worn for a while, most times displayed at the shelf. When it is worn, the medal is seen near the heart, almost like the signifying of the heart of a champion.
When we are there at the medal ceremony of the Olympic of all Olympics, the words of Jesus: " 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!' ": will be engraved emblazoned in our heart forever, for all eternity.
The words of Jesus are more powerful than any words in the Olympic medal. His words are not dead words in a metallic medal, but living words in our heart.
The origin of the Olympic Games is inspired by a long distance runner of Marathon. Let's not give up the race. It's a long distance run. And I am sure many times you and I are not thinking about the medal; but the exhaustion, the pain, the hardship and the exasperation. But there is a medal ceremony for the one who completes the race. Keep thinking of the medal. Every Olympic medallist knows this truth. Keep thinking of the medal. Finish the race.
