This is a strong message because I care, as I do see things which are not apparent right now. Because you don't know me personally, you might form a negative perception for my abruptness and directness. I am economic with my words and like to find the exact word to convey my thoughts. At other times, I just lack a better word. So I appeal to you to accord this a proper consideration, and to take time to meditate and weigh carefully on what I have to say:
"Relying ENTIRELY on a Bible version that is not a faithful reflection of the original text, while having no clue to the original text, is to open ourselves to misconception. By drawing from an extreme `freer' version ALONE, we indirectly imply that the original text is either incomprehensible or irrelevant or non-applicable. We have to have a clear differentiation between Bible scripture and Bible novel. Let's not cross the line between translation and fabrication. Intellectual freedom or eloquence (exaggeration for greater enjoyment/attraction of reading), is not an excuse to abandon plain Bible translation. Speculation should never be a substitute for revelation. There are many easy simple English translations that are faithful to the original text. Do read them. And if you have extra time left, you can read Bible translations that are more like novels."
