When I was a worker for the ministry to the poor, I visited villagers in the slum area often. We conducted free tuition to students and distribute packages of food to several families. In due course, a family accepted the Lord except the father.
One day, the father got an accident. His ankle wouldn’t heal for weeks even after medication, and even after this man consulted a medium. He was desperate because he needed to find work. As I was having a conversation with him, there was such compassion of the Lord flowing out of me. So I prayed for his ankle, my fingers touching his bandaged wound. I prayed a short and simple prayer, only four words: “God, heal his leg.”
But I prayed with great spiritual identification and keenness of soul. I virtually went to the inside of his wound, and asked God to do the healing there.
Days later, he was healed. And he stopped resisting Christ!
