The Romans built roads to connect its empire. I firmly believe that the information highway which we called the internet, is the last days reflection of the Roman roads which Paul took, and, of which, his letters were delivered.
Just as the Roman roads played a pivotal role in the spreading of the gospel, in church planting, in the expansion of the early church ...the internet will play a vital role in the expansion of God's kingdom during this endtime church.
The Word(s) Of His Grace
Acts 13:42-43 & 14:3
So when the Jews went out of the synagogue, the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath. Now when the congregation had broken up, many of the Jews and devout proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas, who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God. (Acts 13:42-43; underline mine)
The words of God spoken indirectly or directly to us …are His grace. Faith comes in the spoken words of God. Therefore, faith is by the grace of God …not-self produced …not self-fabricated …not self-manufactured.
Grace comes together with the divinely breathed words.
So we need to discern and flow with the Holy Spirit …the Spirit of grace.
Paul and Barnabas persuaded the Gentiles to continue in the grace of God.
We heard God. The key to sticking to God’s grace is to recall and remember those words …impressions …visions …dreams …that God had communicated to us.
My name Zac is derived from the Hebrew name Zechariah (as in the prophet/book of the Bible). Zechariah simply means `God remembers’.
We might not remember everything that God had spoken to us in the past, but God remembers. In John 14:26, it is promised that the Holy Spirit brings remembrance to what God had said.
So, the Holy Spirit will remind us even if we have forgotten …a personal promise directly from the Lord …a specific guidance …a revelation about our future. We continue in the grace of God by remembering, abiding and following what God Himself had said to us – through others to us, or directly to us.
Ask the Holy Spirit to remind you of the things spoken to you.
Therefore they stayed there a long time, speaking boldly in the Lord, who was bearing witness to the word of His grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands. (Acts 14:3; underline mine)
The word of His grace produces signs and wonders. God confirms His grace in a tangible manner. It’s not merely word written or spoken from the Bible, it is word carried by the Spirit of grace …that produces power to change and transform lives.
