Revelation can be explained in two ways:
1. Removal of a veil so that what is covered will be disclosed; and
2. Guidance around the objects, to lead you to the place where the truth can be seen and found.
A teacher called, gifted and anointed by God, is to teach by divine revelation.
In this series, we are dealing with supernatural spiritual gifts.
The person who teaches by revelation differs from the solely academically trained teachers.
The gift of the word of wisdom is not restricted to the teaching of the truth. This gift lends clarity to others in every sphere of life - in the areas of perception, conceptualization, visualization and ideas.
I have had revelations in a very clear manner that I have shared with two church leaders of two different local churches. Sometimes, in the clutter of personal everyday involvement, we need outside input for a clearer view of things. We need someone who can see, and give us a macro picture to help us in our decision-making.
