Fake Faith
Positive thinking by itself is not faith. Genuine faith is rooted in a real, spiritual, relationship with God. Bible scripture memory and verbal confession plays a part in building our faith. Even so, faith is not a religious exercise of self-assurance using Bible scripture memory and verbal confession.
Fate Faith
There is a song, `”Que sera sera, whatever will be, will be”. If this song, at times, describes your faith; then you have a mixture of faith and fate. Your faith is fluctuating because you have a wrong surrender. You not only surrendered yourself to God, but you also surrendered to any turn of event. You are giving permanent residence to certain situation. You are allowing your surrounding and circumstance to decide your life. You will have to change your belief system for faith to grow.
Fade Faith
There are saints whose faith is fading. They have neglected and side-stepped their faith to the point that their faith life is lethargic and passive. It’s time for them to activate their faith. It’s time for them to renew their faith in God. It’s time to believe God for new things and greater things. It’s time to believe God again!
