The Blessed Servant Of The LORD
Genesis 24:2-31
And he said, “Come in, O blessed of the LORD! Why do you stand outside? For I have prepared the house, and a place for the camels.” (Genesis 24:31)
The oldest servant of Abraham’s house, ruled over all that Abraham had. This servant depicted the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit administers all of God’s possessions on earth. It began in Genesis 1:2-3, when the Father spoke, and the Holy Spirit made it happen.
Furthermore, Abraham sent this servant to look for a wife for his son, Isaac. In the same way, the Holy Spirit was sent to look for a bride for God’s Son, Jesus Christ. We are the bride of Jesus. Many are needed to be added to make-up one whole bride. The Holy Spirit is still looking, and bringing the bride to Jesus in an encounter – to meet Jesus in the air in what we called the Rapture – illustrated by how Rebekah came with a train of camels, and Isaac walking to meet her – the greatest love story yet to come.
The Holy Spirit is The Blessed Servant Of The LORD, and when we serve under the direction and empowerment of the Holy Spirit, we are the blessed servants of the LORD.
The oldest servant committed himself to a covenant with Abraham. May we enter into a covenant with our Father God in the Great Commission to find and prepare a bride for Jesus.
The Holy Spirit will not retract or retreat until the job is done, neither will we.
Amen.
