Circumcision – What You Picture Often
Genesis 17:10-14
knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him. (Romans 6:9; underline mine)
`knowing’, the original language in Koine Greek, is: ”to see; to perceive with the eyes; to perceive by any of the senses; to perceive, notice, discern, discover; to pay attention, observe; to inspect, examine; to experience any state or condition.”
What you imagine often, will be what you be looking for. What you think often, will eventually produce the corresponding actions in your life.
What do you visualize often? What do you play in your mind often? Why are you allowing it? Why don’t you pay attention to it?
The alternative, the solution, is to think of the cross; allowing the Holy Spirit to illuminate your mind with different aspects and facets of the cross.
You need to surrender your heart by your will. Make a decision. Think of the cross.
