We look for mutual connection, fellowship, networking, affinity and unity.
There is chronos time. And there is kairos time. In the fullness of time God sent His Son and the church was birthed soon after.
The early church was set in the perfect timing within the Roman empire. And the empire was known for building roads to connect its domain.
This endtime church, God has raised the United States. So just as God used the Roman empire to build roads to facilitate and spread the Good News and the planting of churches, God raised up another superpower. Out of this superpower, came the information highway, which we now called the internet.
As Paul traveled the roads of the empire and his letters were sent using these roads, we too take advantage of the internet to advance God's global borderless kingdom.
Back in 2008, my sister Yvonne encouraged me to use Facebook for my ministry. The response in my head was: "Teenage stuff!"
Like so many others, I thought Facebook was merely a social fad.
My friend Wilson prodded me. My wife Su-Leng set it up for me. I gave it a try without much of a thought, only to explore, that is.
Obviously, I had an attitude shift!
