It takes an insignificant man, a commoner such as Ittai the Gittite (only briefly mentioned in the Bible) to relate the message of an unwavering commitment to the Lord despite the odds. Likewise having only a short time of fellowship with Brother Zac, I have come to realize that Brother Zac had to brave similar challenges much times on bended knees only to declare life is about discovery and rediscovery of the faithfulness of God.
I consider it, a pleasure to be able to write a foreword in this book `A Loud Voice In A Quiet Place’. Brother Zac’s walk with the Lord has brought forth revelation and insight of The Lord’s Prayer, transforming it from what was traditionally “a form or an art of prayer” into a deeper understanding and an intimacy with God. His exposition of The Lord’s Prayer brings forth the reverence, the fragrance, the depth and the intended purpose when our Lord Jesus Christ said, “This is the way we ought to pray”.
This book on the rediscovering of The Lord’s Prayer will revolutionize your life, releasing you into to a new understanding of your love for God and God’s love for you, breaking down all walls of tradition, pride, selfishness, etc. I pray that through this understanding of The Lord’s Prayer, it will help us to break forth our own alabaster box before the Lord.
