THE TWENTY-FOUR ELDERS
The twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying: (Revelation 4:10)
The elders will be in very exalted positions. Their place will be at the highest honor seated around the throne of God, and of Jesus. One thing will be very evident: they truly know how to worship God. They will have crowns of gold, but these crowns will not be too precious - for them to fall down and worship.
34. Leaders Must Be Real Worshippers
Every preacher, teacher and leader of the church of Jesus Christ must know how to worship. Their actual place is spiritual in the presence of God. The characteristic which defines the twenty-four elders is their worship. They will fall on their faces before the throne and worship God (Revelation 7:11). Let us not find our calling in what we do outside. We received our calling while we were being in the presence of God. Therefore, the strength of His calling within us must also be found by being in His presence.
A GREAT MULTITUDE
It is amazing how a great multitude which no one could number... of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues... can be able to be in one accord, in unison crying-out with a loud voice... saying the very same thing!
35. True Worship Breeds Unity
At some point, we will have a sense of awareness... not who is worshipping but Who we are worshipping. There is only one name that every knee should bow and every tongue confess... because there is only one Lord... Jesus Christ... and only one God the Father (Philippians 2:10-11).
